Shelba and JoAnn were right – Bean was enthralled with the whole performance. Although, when Diego first came out on stage she did say, rather loudly “That is NOT Diego!”. We explained that the actors are what make it ‘live’, and she watched the whole show. She did ask for the ear muffins once, but it was during a big audience participation part, and we had some very enthusiastic kids behind us. I am really glad we went. I am not so glad I let her pick the white T-shirt as a souvenir. She came home dirtier than she ever has the day she wore the shirt. It’s all OK though – she is happy, and I have a new gallon of shout stain remover.
